As you can see from this article in the May 21, 2026 edition of the Pecatonica Valley Leader, I am relocating to be with family, and the Academy is closing its doors. We have loved working with all our wonderful students. The good news is that the Argyle Public Library plans to make good use of the Academy’s furnishings and teaching materials in the future going forward! Thank you, DRA board members, donors, and families for all your wonderful support over the last few years.

when working with us?
One-on-one reading support for your student with a parent or other adult in attendance
Exercises you can use to work on reading skills with your student at home
A comprehensive pre-reading and reading program led by experienced instructors
Weekly sessions, 30-45 minutes each
High-quality, affordable pre-reading and reading lessons for ages 3 and up
Convenient location in the Argyle Lutheran Church, two blocks east of downtown Argyle
